Description:

201 Marshall is a multi-family TOD development located in downtown Redwood City, CA.  The project consists of five-story + loft wood framed structures over 3 levels of concrete.   One level of the garage structure is subterranean, and its upper two levels are elevated concrete post-tensioned slabs supporting additional parking wrapped with liner units, consisting of residential, leasing, fitness and lobby spaces.  The post-tensioned concrete podium deck supports the  five-story plus loft wood frame structures and a landscaped courtyard.  FBA was the concrete structural engineer  for the project.  The podium footprint was approximately 30,000 square feet.

Structural system for the building is concrete post-tensioned slabs with concrete shear walls supported on a mat slab foundation.
